Testing DMT Entities Through Math

I’ve already spoken about testing the existence of DMT/ Ayahuasca and Mushroom entities through simple questioning right here but I think that using mathematics to do this could be a much more interesting way to go even if the existence of such things are immediately shown to be a complete fabrication. Which to be honest, is probably the most likely outcome.

As a person who is completely useless at maths it would be very interesting to ask autonomous entities (particularly entities who appear to be all knowing) simple mathematical questions that are beyond my immediate comprehension such as “64 x 112” and to then time how long it takes for a response. Assuming they can answer at all I could then across multiple trips ask entities questions of increasing complexity to find the upper limit of their abilities and see just how far I could push it as doing this could teach us multiple awesome things about the nature of psychedelics and the human brain.
This will obviously have to be done with a polite attitude because entities do have the power to crush you.

There are 3 possible outcomes to performing this experiment, which are:

The Entities fail to answer the questions.

If the entities outright fail, refuse to answer or show mathematical skills no better than that of the tripper then this is yet another line of evidence suggesting that they simply do not exist or are at least not nearly as all knowing as some of them seem to be. This combined with the results of my further questioning that I suggested in the previous article on this topic would be the final nail in the coffin in my opinion and would finally provide us with an answer.

The Entities succeed in answering the questions, but there is an upper limit.

If the entities are capable of solving with greater ability than the conscious skills of the tripper then things are really starting to get interesting, this doesn’t necessarily prove their existence (although it certainly helps) but it does let us find out a few things about the human brain as finding the upper limit of their ability to answer basic multiplication questions would essentially show us what the exact processing limitations of the subconscious mind are and just how far it is ahead of our conscious processing power and personal experience leads me to suspect that it is might be leaps and bounds ahead of what is consciously available to us.

The Entities succeed but there is no upper limit.

If everything goes perfectly and the entities pass all questioning beyond what could reasonably be considered the physical limitations of a human brain then goddamn. This would be proof that this experience isn’t just a hallucination that acts like it is in possession of a huge wealth of knowledge inaccessible to me but that it really is exactly what it claims to be. OH MAN

Each of these outcomes would be a fascinating discovery so although it’s probably going to be the first option this is still definitely worth a try and nobody else is working on it so it’s a chance to break some brand new ground and do front line research. I’m finally ready to get working on this very shortly through a series of high dose Ayahuasca trips and you’re welcome to help out and report back if you want to but I do understand that most people are far too lazy for this sort of shit so I shall push on regardless.

Ayahuasca, broken down and described

Onset : 20 - 60 minutes
Duration : 2 - 6 hours
Normal After Effects : 1 - 8 hours

Ayahuasca is any of various psychoactive infusions prepared from a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as B. caapi (Harmaline) or a reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A (RIMAs) such as syrian rue (Harmine), taken with a brewed dimethyltryptamine (DMT) containing plant species. There are a large variety of these plants but in western society the most commonly used plants are either Psychotria viridis leaves or Mimosa Hostillis rootbark.

Harmala alkaloids are MAO-inhibiting beta-carbolines. Harmine and harmaline are classed as selective and reversible inhibitors of monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A). This inhibition of MAO-A allows DMT to diffuse unmetabolized past the membranes in the stomach and small intestine, and eventually cross the blood–brain barrier (which, by itself, requires no MAO-A inhibition) to activate receptor sites in the brain. Without RIMAs or an MAOI, DMT would be oxidised (and thus rendered biologically inactive) by monoamine oxidase enzymes in the digestive tract.

Ayahuasca usually comes in the form of a foul tasting brown liquid that has been used by the indigenous tribes of South America since before recorded history. However, it was first discovered by the western world in the 16th century, when Christian missionaries from Spain and Portugal predictably described it as the work of the devil.

Those who undergo the ayahuasca experience report having profound spiritual revelations regarding their purpose on earth, the true nature of the universe as well as deep insight as how to be the best person they possibly can. It is nearly always said that people experience profound positive changes in their life subsequent to consuming ayahuasca. In addition, it is often reported that individuals experience what gaining access to so called “higher spiritual dimensions” and making contact with various autonomous entities who serve to act as guides or healers.

Here I will describe and categorize each subjective effect that the Ayahuasca experience has to offer in as much detail as I possibly can.

Physical effects:

The body high of ayahuasca can be described as a pleasurable, warm, soft and all encompassing glow. For some it is manifested spontaneously at different unpredictable points throughout the trip but for others it maintains a consistent presence that steadily rises with the onset and hits its limit once the peak has been reached.

In terms of its effects on the physical energy levels of the tripper ayahuasca is entirely setting dependent. For example, when taken in social settings with fast paced music or during physically strenuous situations such as running, walking, climbing or dancing it becomes stimulating and energetic. In contrast however, when taken in calm environments such as darkened rooms with comfortable seating it can become relaxing, peaceful and even moderately sedating.

Cognitive effects:

The head space of ayahuasca is described by many as extremely sober and clear headed in its style when compared to other commonly used psychedelics such as LSD or Psilocin. It contains a large number of psychedelic typical and unique cognitive effects.

The most prominent of these typical effects include,

  • Introspection
  • Acceleration of thought
  • Enhancement of current mind state
  • Removal of cultural filter
  • Feelings of fascination and awe
  • Conceptual thinking
  • Vocabulary suppression
  • Ego suppression, loss and death
  • Time distortion
  • Deja-vu

Along side of the typical cognitive effects listed above, ayahuasca induces certain states which are seemingly rare or spontaneous within all other psychedelics in a consistent, reproducible and extremely powerful way. These commonly reported unique cognitive effects include,

  • Powerful and consistent mindfulness - The term “mindfulness” is used within psychological literature to refer to states which are achieved through the act of practising meditation. This feeling is characterized by a sense of focus on the present moment with a stillness and clarity of mind. Induced mindfulness can occur within any psychedelic but is unique within ayahuasca due to how consistently it is manifested and the way in which it can sustain itself for days, weeks or even months after a single high dose experience. This is an extremely beneficial and therapeutic effect for personal psychological health. In contrast, other more commonly used psychedelics such as LSD and Psilocin tend to induce this effect in a merely spontaneous and temporary form.
  • Consistently induced states of unity and interconnectedness - This is an effect is unique within ayahuasca due to how consistently it is manifested as an accompanying effect along side of ego death and occasionally, ego suppression. In contrast, other more commonly used psychedelics such as LSD and Psilocin tend to induce this effect rarely at best.
  • Consistent communication with the subconscious - Although I am currently working on it, this specific effect has yet to be fully mapped out by me in a formal level of detail. It can be briefly described however as a literal communication with an internal voice within the mind which claims to be the subconscious. At lower levels this is performed by the subconscious conversing with you through your own thought stream. At higher dosages however it becomes a fully audible voice which is capable of coherent conversation on the same level as the ego and arguably self aware in its own right.
  • Sustained dream potentiation - Regular or occassional ayahuasca usage commonly results in extremely vivid, lucid and easy to recollect dreams in the days and weeks after the experience.

It’s worth noting that the overall cognitive positivity or negativity of an ayahuasca trip in psychologically balanced individuals depends greatly on how nauseating or purgative the chosen method of preparation is. For example, paranoia, anxiety, delirium and a difficulty stringing thoughts together often immediately manifest themselves during uncomfortable states of nausea for the inexperienced but remain absent when purge free methods of preparation are used or the user has been accustomed to the purge itself.

Visual effects:

Enhancements,

Ayahuasca presents a complete array of possible visual enhancements which generally includes,

  • Increased visual acuity
  • Enhancement of colours
  • Enhanced pattern recognition

Distortions,

As for visual distortions and alterations, effects experienced are detailed below,

  • Visual drifting (melting, breathing, warping and flowing) - In comparison to other psychedelics this effect can be described as highly detailed, slow and smooth in motion and static in their appearance.
  • Tracers
  • After images
  • Texture repetition
  • Colour shifting
  • Scenery slicing

Geometry,

The visual geometry that is present throughout this trip can be described as more similar in appearance to that of Psilocin than LSD. They can be comprehensively described as structured in their organization, organic in geometric style, intricate in complexity, large in size, fast and smooth in motion, colourful in scheme, glossy in colour, equal in blurred and sharp edges and equal in rounded and angular corners. At higher dosages they are significantly more likely to result in states of level 7B visual geometry over level 7A.

In terms of their manifestation they are progressive in nature and continuously self complexify in settings with little or no visual input and disturbances. For example, darkness will cause the geometry to progressively intensify but this can immediately be reset back down to base level by simply turning on a bright light or actively performing a physical task which requires any level of concentration.

Hallucinatory states,

Ayahuasca and other forms of DMT produce a full range of high level hallucinatory states in a fashion that is more consistent and reproducible than that of any other commonly used psychedelic. These effects include,

  • Transformations
  • Imagery
  • Hallucinations - this particular effect commonly contains hallucinations with scenarios, settings, concepts and autonomous entity contact. They are more common within dark environments and can be described as internal in their manifestation, lucid in believability, interactive in style and almost exclusively religious, spiritual, mystical or transcendental nature in their overall theme.

Auditory effects:

The auditory effects of ayahuasca are extremely consistent in occurrence in comparison to that of LSD and psilocin and exhibit a full range of effects which commonly includes,

  • Auditory enhancements
  • Auditory distortions
  • Auditory hallucinations

Health effects, potential addiction and tolerance:

Research has been made showing the relative physical safety of DMT.

Ayahuasca, has been studied by multidisciplinary groups in Brazil and other countries and was shown that in reasonable doses in a careful context, it presents no negative cognitive/psychiatric/physical consequences.

In terms of mental health the very same study showed that users presented elevated levels of happiness and health. Ayahuasca is not physically addictive, and many users experience a frequency self-regulating quality to the drug. This is despite the fact that the substance holds no real tolerance and can be used on a daily basis if it is desired.

As for the harmine or Syrian rue, it is only dangerous when taken in combination with other drugs and it is not necessary to follow a strict tyramine free diet, which is the case with harmaline. So although RIMAs are generally safer than MAOIs, they still have highly dangerous interactions when combined with almost any antidepressant or stimulant, common migraine medications, certain herbs, or even most cold medicines (including decongestants, antihistamines, and cough syrup) as it can cause potentially lethal serotonin syndrome or hypertensive crisis.

Legal issues:

  • Internationally, DMT is a Schedule I drug under the Convention on Psychotropic Substances. The Commentary on the Convention on Psychotropic Substances notes, however, that the plants containing it are not subject to international control.
  • The legal status in the United States of DMT-containing plants is somewhat questionable. Ayahuasca plants and preparations are legal, as they contain no scheduled chemicals. However, brews made using DMT containing plants are illegal since DMT is a Schedule I drug.
  • Religious use in Brazil was legalized after two official inquiries into the tea in the mid-1980s, which concluded that ayahuasca is not a recreational drug and has valid spiritual uses.
  • In france, as of 2005 almost every single DMT containing plant that could be used to make Ayahusca is illegal.

Although DMT has been made illegal in almost every country. The common botanical sources for it, however, are still legal pretty much everywhere. You can even freely purchase DMT containing plants from specialized ethnobotanical shops on the internet. Harmine and harmaline, are also generally legal, including most of its ethnobotanically common plant sources (such as syrian rue and the vine ayahuasca). In Canada however harmaline is a Schedule lll drug.

If you want to try ayahusca despite the potential legal risks. Extremely easy to follow recipes can be found both here and here.

Preparation methods:

Ayahuasca can be prepared in a number of ways using a variety of different plant sources. For the DMT, the most commonly used ingredients are mimosa hostillis rootbark or acacia rootbark. The harmala alkaloids and inhibitors are usually found within syrian rue seeds or Banisteriopsis caapi leaves. All of these are legal to purchase within most countries and freely available through the use of google.

For the purposes of this article we have developed, linked and listed below 3 formal recipes for both traditional ayahuasca brews and practical modern day equivalents,

  • Traditional ayahuasca brew - This method can take up to several hours depending on the desired potency of the brew. It results in a shot glass of foul tasting brown liquid and has a high risk of nausea / purging.
  • Ayahuasca fruit smoothie - This method seems absurdly comical in its simplicity and incredible practicality.  I accidentally stumbled upon this method through random experimentation and realized that simply blending small amounts of the wood into a banana smoothie and adding sugar results in a perfectly drinkable (although strangely textured) drink. This can be made within less than ten minutes and results in minimal nausea. It is without exaggeration, the simplest and most practical ayahuasca recipe ever developed.
  • Ayahuasca chocolate shredded wheat cupcakes - After realizing that ayahuasca could easily be prepared into a milkshake, further experimentation resulted in cupcake which is surprisingly delicious although very chocolatey. It takes an hour or so in total to make these cakes and contains minimal nausea. They are better used for low to moderate dosages and many people note that they literally taste like normal cupcakes.

Misconceptions:

There appears to be a general consensus among many online psychedelic communities that ayahuasca is simply too powerful for beginners and that even the most experienced of psychonauts should tread lightly. Some people even go as far as saying that you should not undergo the experience without the guidance of a practising shaman and always within a traditional environment.

I would like to use this section of the article to express the opinion that these view points are misinformed and at times, unnecessarily elitist. Providing the user can handle nausea or a purge free preparation method has been used, ayahuasca is the most perfect starter psychedelic in existence and not in any way more overwhelming than LSD or mushrooms. It can also be taken in any number of environments no matter how shamanically inappropriate but as with any psychedelic, it will only take you to its deepest points within silent darkness.

Conclusion:

Ayahuasca is by far my favourite psychedelic. It is extremely easy to make and offers a completely different, but amazing style of trip that needs to be taken much more seriously. If I had to choose a single substance for society to base its civilisation around it would be ayahuasca, not LSD and certainly not Alcohol.

There is something about strobe lights

Ok this isn’t exactly a full article but it does need to be out there. For some reason there is something about strobe lights and tripping; if you look into a strobe light during a psychedelic trip it immediately begins to induce the most bizarrely intense visuals as you receive one mindgasm after the other just looking at the thing.
You don’t necessarily need a working strobe light to do this either as websites offer simple online strobe lights that work pretty well depending on the capabilities of your screen, If you close your eyes and put your face right up to the screen under the influence of even a mild trip it’ll drive you insane as the visuals just continue to build up and up. I have no idea why this works but I guess it must be some sort of reaction to the constant rapidfire dilation and constriction of the pupils that does this so if you’re currently tripping or planning on tripping around a computer soon please try and remember to check this out and report back.

This also works on dissociatives such as MXE and DXM and can even spontaneously induce full on hallucinatory scenarios when you were only previously feeling a little dissociated.

It generally works to an extent even a long time after the comedown, hell it does it for me when simply high but I’m pretty sure that one is probably just me.

The messaging system on tumblr sucks

Sometimes it randomly deletes messages I’m sending. Sometimes it randomly deletes messages I've received. It doesn’t let me respond to anonymous messages unless I also agree to post them to my tumblr for all to see and since almost all of my messages are anonymous I’m forced to ignore most of them which I should not have to do. I currently have 54 messages in my inbox that I can’t respond to without turning my blog into a stream of questions and answers and it keeps on growing.

There’s no point in asking my readers to sign up to tumblr for one blog and it seems like most of you are lurkers and RSS readers of some sort (hi by the way!) so it sure would be nice if I could respond to some of these messages because I am literally happy to hold your hand every step of the way if it helps get you started but tumblr prevents me from doing so.

So should I set up a facebook page or some shit? Any suggestions? Send me a message! If this goddamn site even lets you… You know what I’m just gonna go ahead and do it anyway even if there’s a chance that it has no use. This facebook page is now in the sidelinks if you’re anonymous and have questions or messages to send this could be a better option:

YOU SEE WHAT YOU MAKE ME DO TUMBLR??

“Disrespecting” the Psychedelic Experience

I’m pretty sure 99% of you will already agree with me on this one but judging by some of the messages I receive and the heated trollfests that I see quite often within my favourite online psychedelic communities there are an insistent group of people that like to push the idea of there being a “wrong” and a “right” way to trip and that it’s even possible to disrespect the trip through certain ways such as using psychedelics for purely recreational activities instead of deep spiritual journeys into the mind.

Now I understand that traditional shamanic psychedelics such as Ayahusca and Mushrooms are powerful ancient healers and should be treated with respect but if I want to watch Adventure Time and play videogames on a mind blowing dose of either then I will do just that, some people may prefer to be doing something else with their trips but to then assert that their completely subjective experience is somehow more valuable than somebody else’s completely subjective experiences is just plain retarded. Just because I am enjoying myself does not mean I am showing a lack of respect for anything.

Another way in which I have supposedly been violating the sacred rules of internet technoshamanism has been on this very tumblr as a result of the posting of simple and easy to follow extraction methods because apparently we should all know that these substances are a “calling” and if people truly want them they will seek them themselves and therefore to make it easy for people is to somehow disrespect the psychedelic experience. I honestly don’t see the point of messages like this as they seem a little silly. It’s not as if you were just sitting there and DMT called out to you from beyond the stars, no you heard about it through a friend or read about it somewhere just like everybody else. Making the extraction process easier so that people do not have to make sense of and browse multiple old forum posts that all contradict each other is not a terrible thing. In fact you could argue that since there seems to be something fundamentally wrong with modern culture and the only thing currently capable of fixing this problem on an individual level over a quick enough time scale to prevent us from collectively fucking everything up seems to be these very compounds it would have been rude not to post them.

These rules apply to all psychedelics but none more so than Ayahuasca which has many restrictions and practises attributed to it that aren’t really based on anything at all, these include but are not limited to:

  • You should never try Ayahuasca without the guidance of an experienced shaman.
  • You should never use Ayahuasca recreationally in any capacity. Ever.
  • You should never take preventative measures to remove the purge from the trip.

None of these are true. Although great care and caution should be shown until a user is completely comfortable with the powerful trip Ayahuasca has to offer a common sense approach and a sitter that knows what they are doing will make for just as safe a trip as any shaman from the rainforest.

It is entirely up to the individual and the knowledge of their own limits when deciding what they want to do with their trips. How some people manage to place completely arbitrary cultural constructs onto a group of substances that’s main effect is the removal of such things I do not know.

The last restriction that is placed on Ayahuasca is the stigma of removing the purge as many people feel that it is an intrinsic part of the trip but I do still feel that it is obviously not an intrinsic part of the trip. It is an intrinsic part of ingesting pulverised rootbark that has been simmered down into a foul sludge and nothing more. If this were anything but the case you would not be able to remove it with an extremely simple recipe change (adding eggwhites hurr) and Pharmahuasca users who take 100% pure dmt instead of drinking it in liquid form would also experience such intense nausea. I do not want to ingest wood I just want to ingest the DMT.

I am with these people to an extent and completely agree that these moments of recreational use are not exactly deep spiritual work or how I should spend every moment of my trips but as somebody who has benefited enormously from tripping on a very regular basis I sometimes genuinely run out of introspection and personal problems to solve and just want to have fun, this is nothing but a good thing and although quite difficult, interacting with a breakthrough partial egodeath trip by attempting to play videogames, going shopping or whatever the hell you feel like doing can be a pretty hilarious experience if you know your limits.

Below is a list of materials for 1 dose of ayahuasca:

  • 5-10 grams of Mimosa Hostilis root bark
  • 2 grams of Syrian Rue seed matter
  • 1 empty tea bags, or 1 empty zip lock bags.
  • 1 stainless steel or ceramic pots, no aluminum.
  • Vinegar
  • empty gel capsules

Procedure:

Step 1
The mimosa hostilis root bark is pulverized and shredded into a stringy or powdery consistency; the finer the root bark the better.
This is done by either using a coffee grinder or using a blender. Simply twisting and shredding by hand works as well.

If you are brewing for multiple people, it is not necessary to brew the root bark across individual pots. Throw it all into one pot and pour out the liquid at the end into separate containers accordingly.

Step 2
The stainless steel pot is next filled with roughly about 400ml of water and 4 tablespoons of vinegar. The root bark should be submerged into the water and brought to a slow simmer. It should not be boiled and the lowest setting on the cooker should be used for this as excessive heat will destroy alkaloids.

Once most of the water in the pot has evaporated, more water can be added 2 or more times to continue the brewing process as the longer it brews the more potent the ayahuasca will be This is optional, but recommended. If there is no time to do this, at least twice the amount of root bark will need to be added to achieve a similar dosage.

Step 3
Before the water has simmered down to about ¾ of the way down, the root bark should be taken out of the water and left to cool. Once the root bark has cooled down enough, the liquid should be squeezed out of the root bark back into the pot and the root bark should be discarded of. The water is then further evaporated and what should be left is a small amount of a purple and/or brown coloured liquid which is enough to fill a shot glass with. Before pouring the liquid out of the pot, egg whites should be added to help eradicate the purge. They will soak up the tannins but not the DMT. The egg whites should then be sieved out of the water once they have hardened and solidified. This step will reduce nausea in leaps and bounds and will change the ayahuasca from the consistency of a foul sludge to the consistency of milk.

Step 4
Syrian rue seed matter can be prepared in the same way as the root bark if preferred, but the easiest way to prepare Syrian rue is to simply stuff it into empty gel capsules.

If the gel capsule technique is used, only 1 gram of Syrian rue is needed and not 2 grams. If you do not have gel capsules, the seeds can simply be washed down with some fruit juice and swallowed.

Step 5
This takes practice.

Dosage, onset and duration:
Threshold: 5g
Light: 5 – 7g
Moderate: 7 – 10g
Strong: 10g +
(Dosage for the mimosa hostilis root bark)

Onset: 20 minutes – 4 hours
Duration: 2 – 6 hours
Normal After Effects up to 8 hours

Consumption
The Syrian rue needs to be taken 15 minutes before the root bark if swallowed in liquid form. If the Syrian rue is consumed in gel cap form (the easier route of administration) then it needs to be taken roughly 20-30 minutes before the root bark.

Precautions
Syrian rue is an RIMA meaning dietary restrictions can be largely ignored as Syrian rue does not contain an MAOI, although it is advisable not to consume large quantities of alcohol or tyramine-containing foods.
Although RIMAs are generally safer than MAOIs, they still have highly dangerous interactions when combined with almost any antidepressant or stimulant, as it can cause serotonin syndrome or hypertensive crisis.
If one were to consume ayahuasca, they would need to start off with a low dose and work their way up in small increments.

Until you have gained its trust, ayahusca is not a recreational drug. You are a guest in its house, so be polite or it will destroy you.

Fun fact: I’ve cooked meals more complex than this and I can’t cook for shit.

Materials and equipment:

  • Vermiculite
  • Water
  • Brown rice flour/rye flour
  • Short wide jars
  • Big bowl
  • Spoon
  • Tin foil
  • Pressure cooker
  • Spore prints
  • Syringe
  • 2 plastic toy tubs
  • An aquarium heater
  • 2 extra Spare jars
  • Towel
  • Perlite
  • Colander
  • 1 large tub with a lid
  • Drill
  • Spray bottle

Procedure:

Step 1 - STERILIZE EVERYTHING!

Before the BRF tek is started, sterilization procedures need to be taken.
The surface working on should be as sterile as possible as well as the equipment and tools.

Windows should be kept open if possible, as this will help with the air staying sterile.

An antiseptic cleaning spray should be sprayed in the area that will be worked in every so often to insure no dust or germs infect the jars.
It’s vital that sterilization procedures are taken as it’s very easy for the jars to become contaminated.

Step 2 - MAKING THE CAKES

To know how much vermiculite, water and brown rice flour is needed, a bit of math is required (but nothing too complicated).

To fill a 240ml jar, the following ingredients are needed:

  • 140ml Vermiculite.
  • 40ml Brown rice flour.
  • 20-30ml water.

To work out how much of these ingredients will be needed, it will depend on the amount of jars and how much the jar can contain.
For example, if we wanted to use six 240ml jars, each ingredient would need to be multiplied by 6.

Once the amount of each ingredient is figured out, the vermiculite and water need to be mixed until the water starts to pool when the bowl is tilted to the side.

Afterwards, the brown rice flour is added.
The mix then needs to be put into the jars, leaving about half an inch left at the top, and then filled with dry vermiculite.

2 Layers of foil need to be put on top of the jars tightly so they won’t come off. Then put a 3rd layer of foil on very loosely.

The jars need to be sterilized further, so they need to be put in a pressure cooker for about 20-30 minutes. To ensure that the jars at the bottom of the pressure cooker do not get too hot, the lids of the jars can be put at the bottom of the pressure cooker.

Step 3 - INOCULATION

After the jars have cooled down, the jars then need to be inoculated with the spores.
A syringe is used to do this and it needs to be sterile. The spore print should be scraped off with a scalpel very lightly into a sterile jar or cup and then 10ml of water should be added.

Using the syringe, the water and spore mixture should be sucked into the syringe. If the spores stick to the bottom of the jar, empty and refill the syringe a few times. This also helps to ensure that the spores are properly mixed into the water.

The 3rd layer of foil on top of the jars should be taken off then pierce 4 sides of the 2nd layer of foil with the syringe. The amount of spores put into the jar doesn’t really matter too much, but more usually is better to ensure the jars do get inoculated. Once all the jars are inoculated, the 3rd layer of foil needs to be put back onto the jars tightly.

Step 4 - INCUBATION!

One of the tubs should have an aquarium heater placed on the bottom of the tub and then filled 1/3 of the way up with water.
The aquarium heater should be set to 27 degrees C.
Then the second tub should be placed inside, using the spare jars to hold up the second tub, so that the aquarium heater isn’t touching the bottom of the top tub.
The jars should be then placed inside the tub. If the jars need to be stacked, a piece of card should be used to separate them as the bottom of the jars should not be resting on top of the foil as this could make the foil become loose and then will be prone to contamination.
A clean towel should then be placed on top of the box to keep in the heat.

Step 5 - COLONIZATION

After 3-5 days, signs of colonization should appear. The jars should have little specks of white growing inside of them; this is the mycelium that will eventually colonize the whole jar.
If any other colour other than white (and the brown vermiculite) is seen in the jars, it means that the jars have been contaminated and has mold growing on them. More sterile procedures need to be taken the next time this is done.

If the jars have started to colonize properly, then full colonization should take from 2 to 6 weeks.
Depending on certain things, colonization can vary from just a couple of days to a month or two.

Things that will affect the speed of the colonization are:

  • Temperature of the room
  • Air humidity
  • The strain of spore

Patience is needed for this step, but if signs of colonization are shown, most likely the whole jar will eventually be colonized.

Step 6 - PINNING

When the jar has completely colonized, they should be taken out of the incubator and placed in direct sunlight at room temperature.
Pins should start to be seen in the jars after 5 days, but sometimes pinning can occur during step 8.
(Pinning is the name given to the mushrooms when they are first seen, as they are very, very small and thin.)

Step 7 - DUNK & ROLL

After 5 days are over, the cakes should be taken out of the jars and washed under a tap, to get any excess vermiculite off.
The cakes should then be submerged (dunked) in a big pot of water for 24 hours.
After the 24 hours, the cakes then need to be taken out of the water and rolled in dry vermiculite, helping to keep in the moisture.
(Cakes are the name given to the mixture of vermiculite and mycelium once they have left the jars.)

Step 8 - FRUITING

A fruiting chamber is needed and is made by drilling multiple holes on all 4 sides of the tub and on the lid (this helps with the air flow in the tub).
The perlite should be poured into a colander and soaked in water thoroughly. After the perlite has been soaked, it should be placed into the fruiting chamber (about 5-7 litres is needed, but depending on the size of the tub the level of perlite should be about 2-4 inches high).

The cakes should be then placed in the fruiting chamber on top of a small square piece of foil to ensure that the mycelium doesn’t grow in the perlite, But I’m not entirely sure if that’s actually a bad thing or not yet…
Then when the cakes are all placed inside, the tub should be sprayed with water AT LEAST three times a day.

If pinning didn’t occur during step 6, they should start to pin during this step, but again patience is needed as pinning can sometimes take a while.

Step 9 - PICKING

You should see progress within a week or two, possibly less than that.
Picking them is usually best to do, just after the veil is broken (the veil is the thin piece that attaches the stem to the cap).
If you see some pins on the cakes that have turned black, these are called aborts. They are still okay to eat. They just didn’t manage to grow quickly enough, but they’ll still have pscilocybin in them ;)

Dosage, Onset and Duration:

Threshold : 0.25 g
Light : 0.25 – 2.5 g
Moderate : 2.5 - 5 g
Strong : 5 + g Onset : 10 - 40 minutes

Onset : 20 - 60 minutes (when swallowed on empty stomach)
Duration : 2 - 6 hours
Normal After Effects : up to 8 hours

Preparation
:

The easiest method of preparation for eliminating nausea and taste is having the mushrooms prepared into a chocolate bar.
This can be done by melting a small standard size chocolate bar. While the chocolate melts, the dried mushrooms need to be blended into a fine powder.
The powdered mushrooms would then be mixed into the melted chocolate and the mixture should then be left to set in a mould and placed into the fridge so that the chocolate can settle. Once the chocolate has settled, the tasty psychedelic treat can be consumed.

A quicker technique is putting blended mushroom powder into a chocolate spread or jam sandwich as this disguises the taste completely and reduces nausea in leaps and bounds.

Simple DMT Extraction Technique

DISCLAIMER: I do not encourage you to break the law and this guide is purely for informational purposes only. I am not responsible for your actions.

Materials and equipment:

  • 900ml jar
  • 200ml jar
  • 100g Mimosa hostilis root bark
  • 150ml Naptha
  • 100g Lye (sodium hydroxide)
  • 600ml water
  • turkey baster
  • freezer
  • scalpel
  • safety goggles
  • safety gloves

The procedure:

Step 1 - SAFETY
Safety goggles and safety gloves should be worn while handling lye.
Long sleeve tops and trousers should also be worn for extra protection as lye reacts with water and becomes extremely hot. If any of the solution comes into contact with skin or eyes, seek medical advice.

Step 2
The water should be boiled and left to cool and then the lye should be added until the solution becomes clear.
(Always add the lye to the water slowly bit by bit and not the other way around, as I already mentioned the lye and water mixed together will become very hot and if the water is added to the lye it could become extremely hot and smash the jar and come into contact with skin.)
Once the solution is clear, the mimosa hostilis root bark is then added and submerged in the solution.
Then the lid needs to be screwed onto the jar and left at room temperature for 24 hours.

Step 3
After the 24 hours, the naptha should be added into the jar. The lid is then placed back on and the jar needs to be shaken.
The jar then needs to left alone for another 24 hours in somewhere heated, such as on top of a radiator.
Shake the jar every so often throughout the 24 hours.
During this step, the naptha slowly absorbs the dmt from the root bark.

Step 4
A turkey baster is then used to collect the naptha and put it into the 200ml jar.
The naptha should be completely clear with a tint of yellow.
No brown liquid should be tolerated as this affects the dmt. If your naptha has a tint of browny orange, leave the naptha sit in the separate jar over night. The brown liquid should then separate and should be removed before moving on to the next step.

Step 5
The jar of naptha should be placed in to the freezer for 24 hours.
The jar then needs to be taken out of the freezer and left for about half an hour so that the naptha becomes clear.
The naptha should be slowly poured back into the jar filled with the root bark and left in the aquarium heater.

Step 6
There should only be crystals with a tint of yellow-white left in the 200ml jar.
The jar needs to be left for 24 hours as it needs to dry out.
Placing the jar in front of a fan will speed things up.
Once the dmt is dried, it can be then scraped out with a clean scalpel or knife.

Dosage, onset and smoking technique:

Threshold : 2 - 5 mg
Light : 10 - 20 mg
Moderate : 20 - 40 mg
Strong : 40 - 60 mg

Onset : 15 - 60 seconds
Duration : 5 - 20 minutes
Normal After Effects : 15 - 60 minutes

Although the internet is full of various smoking and vaporizing techniques that may or may not be more effective than others, I’ve always found the simplest way to successfully smoke DMT is to put it into a normal water filtered bong with a small mixture of weed or other filler to absorb the DMT as it melts and light the bowl as usual. Take big pulls and hold them in for as long as you possibly can. If you are worried about the harshness of the smoke, putting ice into the bong water helps drastically.
